Reverend Carlton Anderson

“For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” –(I Corinthians 9: 16)

Rev. Anderson was born and raised as a resident of Little Rock, AR, where he met and married Linda J. (Chandler) Anderson.  To this union were born three children; Latryce Monique, Collis Raphael, and Carra Lynnette Anderson (Sahs).

Rev. Anderson was called to the Gospel ministry of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ April 1976 at Greater Friendship Baptist Church in Little Rock under the pastorship of Reverend Cato Brooks Jr.

After relocating his family to Bossier City, LA he united with Sunflower Baptist Church and served for 11 years under the pastorship of the late Robert L. Elie.

Pastor Anderson has served as pastor of; Waterloo #2 Baptist Church, Taylortown, LA, Temple Baptist Church, Shreveport, LA, and New Victory Praise Baptist Church, Dallas, TX.  He currently serves in the teaching and education ministries in fellowship with and under the pastorship of Pastor Reginald Jefferson, New Hope Baptist Church, Mesquite, TX.
